Luckily with iFollow this year I've managed to watch every game, will be special being there, promotion on the last day of the season is possibly a once in a lifetime

To amass 92 points in a season is an achievement in itself and should be rewarded with promotion :bluescarf:

They always say to roughly average 2 points a game

We've literally done exactly what has been asked of us providing we get those 3 points

We have a group of Dutch fans who have followed us for over 10 years.

They are a group of 10 or so and between them do about 10 away and 10 home each season.

A couple came over for the Forest game and a week later the Hull game. They caught the 9PM ferry from Holland on the Friday night getting into Hull 5 AM Saturday morning then the 9PM ferry back Saturday night getting into Holland 5AM Sunday morning and to finish it off a 2 hour drive back to Rotterdam.

Prior to the game we were all having a. Pint in the Walton Road Social club whereby we were talking about the Reading game and how big it could be, regardless the feeling amongst them was they couldn’t afford to do three trips in three weeks, the ferry to Hull and back cost them 100 Euros each before you add other cost of petrol the other side and match ticket, plus next Sunday there own teams have there last games of the season, some are Feyenoord supporters and others support one of the other three teams in Rotterdam Excelsior.

It must have been within an hour of the game I got a call to tell me they were coming over and can I sort the tickets, thankfully when I got home at near midnight Saturday I went on line and managed to book them tickets.

The support these guys have given us over the last ten years has been nothing but unbelievable even during the Oli and Slade days they kept coming, I’ve even know them to leave Rotterdam at 4AM on Boxing Day to watch us at home with a mid day KO. They then drove back down to Kent straight on to the Euro Star and drive back to Rotterdam.

Starting with Barnsley they have seen all our games at Wembley, they are well known to the club and usually book there tickets with Mona.

That's fantastic to read. Great effort by them.

By the way, is it easy to get tickets to watch Feyenoord? I've fancied a game there for a while.

Been over to watch the Derby game Feyenoord and Excelsior made a great change from Amsterdam, if you like architecture some interesting buildings inc the cube houses.

Stayed in the Manhattan hotel by the train station.

Much cheaper as well than Amsterdam.

£500 all in for the flight, unfortunately it’s Gatwick not Heathrow so a bit more of a drive for the old man picking me up

I might save on the bridge, I hear it’s free now?

Agreed, I have to get back for work but after not being home for a couple of Christmas periods I'm going to try and come home for a prolonged period then

A win and the journey will be worth it!
