Wildschut to sign if we go up?

Mon Apr 30, 2018 11:52 am

I keep reading that IF we go up we shouldn't sign Wildschut and send him back to Norwich but I didn't think that was an option? I'm pretty sure Warnock said if we go up we automatically have to take him.

Any know any different.

I've never head of such an agreement...

Ah found it

Warnock
"If we went up we would take him automatically. But we will have to discuss things with him if we don't go up. We are just glad to have him on board."

is that saying we have an agreement to sign him? or that warnock would want to (and if promoted, could afford to)

if its the latter i reckon he would have changed his mind now.

Not sure I’d want us to keep him if we don’t go up.

Not been too convincing in the games he’s appeared in.

The article states "The Bluebirds will have the option of signing Wildschut at the end of the season"

I interpret what Warnock said about signing him permanently as meaning it could only possibly happen if we went up.

ill be honest I don't always read the BBC filler in these articles, its an odd way for Warnock to word in my opinion. Hopefully it doesn't mean he signs then, no matter what league we are in ive been disappointed in him, id have rather seen Kadeem Harris given a run.

Luke I agree Warnock (or the reporter) have worded the intentions to sign Wildschut oddly. It is my perception that we don't HAVE to sign him but I couldn't say that 100% for sure.
