NEIL WARNOCK: " CARDIFF CITY FANS "
By Tom Coleman

Plenty has been said about Cardiff's poor attendances at home, but in recent weeks the hardy support that has followed Neil Warnock's side on the road has been nothing short of superb.
Having been left disappointed at Villa Park and Pride Park, the 2,400 fans that made the nine hour round trip up to Hull were relentless in their support for the cause, creating one of the most special atmospheres of the season.
It wasn't lost on boss Neil Warnock, who seemed particularly impressed by the Bluebirds' stirring rendition of the national anthem.
NEIL WARNOCK:
"The last time I heard the national anthem of Wales like that was when I went to watch Wales play Australia at rugby," he said.
"My hair stood up. I thought the fans were brilliant."
That's before you get on to the incredible fancy dress on show.
There aren't many other teams in the Premier League lucky enough to have a set of fans capable of making the sort of racket that was heard on Humberside
Given that the likes of Aston Villa, Fulham and Derby have gone to the KCOM and failed to emerge with three points, you cannot underestimate the impact of such backing.
There's a special rapport between the fans, the team and, even more so, with Warnock, who still loves to make a point of saluting the supporters after every success with his trademark wind-up fist pump.
Cardiff are within touching distance of a promotion that in terms of magic gives Malky Mackay's vintage of 2013 a good run for its money, and the fans have undeniably played their part.
So come on Neil and the team, please give these people the fairytale ending they deserve!
Cardiff City Stadium has been rocking in recent weeks. It will be again on Sunday.
