Stewards last night

Had two knobs to be fair. We were trying to put up the flag that had been made saying RIP Clarkey on the wall at the back of the ninian then he came over and said that we couldn't put it up. He then said to us your being watched and if you put it up you'll be kicked out I asked why and he just repeated we're being watched.

Then the Second half kicked off everyone was standing up both blocks next to the away end and a new steward came over and told everyone to sit down or they'd kick us out

Can't they ease up on the flag situation? It wasn't covering any advertising hoardings so what was the problem?

Didn't say anything offensive so don't understand why we couldn't put it up.

Shame they wouldn't let us put us up as what a legend Clarkey was

They only bully when they can Chief. They were most prob bullied at school. They wouldn't say boo to a goose in the middle of the Canton. When it is a very small crowd they turn into little Hitlers

I had to put up with threats of 'your being watched in the control room, thier not happy and they will block your ticket for the next home game'

Yep we were told the same also including a 3 year ban for standing or putting up our flag am going to email wayne nash about being able to put the flag up at donny.
Not my usual season ticket seat but where I normally sit we can put flags up and we have a good relationship with the stewards but where I sat for Burton game was terrible!!!!

I know Steve the Tea has emailed TG for me so cheers for that

I can't see why they are not allowing you to put it up there, its a flag respecting a Cardiff legend, if it was a disrespectful flag aimed at another team/player then I would understand!

I can't comment on what happened as obviously I wasn't there, but they did say before the ground was opened that you couldn't stand in the Ninian stand and if you did want to stand, you'd have to go in the Canton stand. The taking down of the flag seems very harsh though

Yep thats what I was explaining to him then he said theres our control room they are looking at your seat now do you want to watch the rest of the game or what?

I was gobsmacked by the total attitude towards fans after all we have paid to come watch it we weren't causing trouble and as you say it was nothing disrespectful

I tried to walk over to the canton and was stopped by a steward but later on saw a solitary figure in there. More steward incompetance?

danny - they frequently liked to point out the control room to us so we just had to wave to them

Did you explain to them that the flag you were puting up was in honour and memory of Brian Clark if so and they still didn't let you hang it up then they should be ashamed e-mail the Club and tell them you would like to hang it up in memory of Brian at the Doncaster game.

How do they know who you are ? Answer they dont. If they said that to me my reply would be what ever turns you lot on pal. Jog on. Especially if i wasn't doing anything wrong.

Little Hitlers most of them, give it the big one because their backed up by the old bill and CCTV. If it kicked off between two sets of supporters in the ground as it did in the past, you would`nt see their arses for dust.

Jobsworths obviously no realisation what Brian Clark meant to us supporters, and totally ignorant of people wanting to show their respects to his memory.
