Yesterday Cardiff City at Hull: For me, Seeing Peter Lovell,

Texted to me from a City fan :bluebird:

Hull City 0 Cardiff City 2 :bluescarf:

For me, seeing Peter Lovell, a retired Council worker and Cardiff City fan of 60 years - crying his eyes out at the final whistle encapsulated the emotion at the KCOM Stadium yesterday.

There were tears of joy and mirth with a Cardiff fan dressed as a Cardinal blessing everything that moved.

The win as a memory for me was right up there with City's 2-1 win at Sporting Lisbon in the Sixties, the 1-0 maxium at Palace in 1976 and the 2-0 FA Cup Quarter-Final result v Middlesbrough 10 years ago.

We can't count chickens because this is the Championship. But is this not out of a Roy of the Rovers annual? We need to win at home in front of 30,000-plus to become a Premier League club again - but this time we can go through the gates in our famous blue.

Wonderful; against the odds and national media who have a seemingly deep love affair with Fulham, that Thameside coffee shop in Chelsea.

Seen you soon at the Reading game :bluebird:

People who support the big clubs really don't understand what this all means to us.

We may not have the success and the flash players etc.. but there is an emotion, a pride and a passion that they will never ever experience .

A couple of my mates were choking it back yesterday and IF we do it next week I think there will be hundreds if not thousands in a mess.

After what we've been through over the past few years this has the potential to be a very very special day.
