You may be correct, but when I read other team's forums they are often saying exactly the same thing. Poor refs are not purely the property of Cardiff City.

The pen didn't look as if he touched him in plain sight ref so why didn't he book player for diving? That's another reason not to have var prefer bad decisions than having a decision go against you unexpectedly!

I can see both sides of the arguments, but football has thrived for a century or so without it, I am not sure stopping the game every time a difficult decision has to be made will improve things. Ok for cricket which is not non stop action at the best of times, not so sure about football though.
