My View/Opinion

THIS WAS IT TODAY FOR CARDIFF CITY / THEY HAD TO WIN & THEY DID IT, WITH NEIL WARNOCKS SIDE KEEPING THEIR NERVE & GETTING 3PTS THAT WILL MEAN IF CARDIFF BEAT READING AT HOME NEXT SUNDAY, CITY WILL BE A PREMIER LEAGUE CLUB :thumbright: :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

YES YES YES :bluebird: :bluebird: :bluebird: :bluebird:

Cardiff City Captain Sean Morrison scored two goals today & lead City to a Great victory :bluebird: :bluebird:

CARDIFF CITY FANS WERE DELIRIOUS AT THE FINAL WHISTLE :bluebird: :bluebird:

First-half: Cardiff's nerves were finally settled when Sean Morrison headed in a goal in the 32nd min 0-1, from a Joe Ralls corner :thumbright: :bluebird:

Second-half, Cardiff looked the better team and deserved the victory :bluebird: :bluebird:

HULL CITY 2 CARDIFF CITY 0 :thumbright: :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:
Crowd 17,414
Away Support 2,350 Cardiff fans :bluebird:

Neil Etheridge Lee Peltier Sol Bamba Sean Morrison Joe Bennett Aron Gunnarsson
Callum Paterson Joe Ralls Nathaniel Mendez-Laing Junior Hoilett Kenneth Zohore

Subs: Brian Murphy Bruno Manga Craig Bryson Marko Grujic
Jamie Ward Anthony Pilkington Gary Madine

City lost Gunnarsson with an injury in the first 10mins, replaced by Marko Grujic.

Both teams went for it & the first 15mins it was even stevens.

But apart from the two enforced substitutions - one for each side - over all it was a quiet opening 25 minutes at the KCOM Stadium.

Yellow card was shown to Grujic for a late challenge on Meyler.

Cardiff's nerves were finally settled when Sean Morrison headed in a goal in the 32nd min 0-1, from a Joe Ralls corner :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

It continued end to end.

8 mins injury time we had

City finished the half the stronger team :bluebird: :bluebird:

H/T 0-1 :thumbright: :bluebird:

Craig Bryson came on for Grujic, even though Grujic was a sub himself, Grujić, who was on a booking.

Bright start from Cardiff as McGregor was forced to palm away Paterson's close-range header :bluebird:

Hull goalie McGregor had to make a double save from Morrison and Zohore.

Joe Ralls was booked.

Cardiff were under pressure for periods of the 2nd-half.

Hull looked like they should of had a penalty, their fans boo the ref.
Peltier appeared to trip Campbell inside the box, but the referee said no pen. Hull fans very, very unhappy.

Then Real Class from Mendez-Laing

Laing burst away with a brilliant counter-attack. Held it up superbly inside the area, picked out Sean Morrison, who was unmarked and haD all the time in the world to slot home. 0-2 Sean Morrison :bluebird: :bluebird: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

CARDIFF FANS WENT MENTAL :bluebird: :bluebird: :bluebird:

Gary Madine came on for Zohore & City Fans sang we are on the pitch if Gary scores  :bluebird:

F/T 2-0 :thumbright: :thumbright: :bluebird: :bluebird:

MY MAN OF THE MATCH SEAN MORRISON :thumbright: :bluebird:

Unless I am mistaken it very much the same for Reading. A draw would have saved them with their goal difference but they went and got spanked.

Great result today after a few disappointments.

Will be a hard game next week however the lads should have a spring in their step after today.

Home match to get promoted bring it on

I watched how fast Morrison chased back on several occasions against Derby when they broke after our corner - I tell you for a big fella Sean Morrison eats up the ground!!
