Today Sounded loud on radio Wales. Gutted I couldn't be there today. Was working overtime for cash to attend play offs and wembley, been on a downer since comming back from Derby. Now I believe :ayatollah:
Did I hear correct today? did frazier Campbell do the ayatollah mid game?

Always loved Frazier a genuine pro who run his guts out for City he epitomizes what is lacking in football, someone who earns his corn !! More power to FC a class act !!

Like you said in a previous post RV - 2000 miles in 3 weeks.

Tough in the loyal fan, but I'd say today the non stop singing from start to finish was the best I've seen from any club in a very long time.

The players responded brilliantly and it was clear to see they appreciated it today.

I thought Derby was loud Tim but it was even better today. And the players certainly responded

I think Hull is one of few grounds I haven't been to and was tempted. Tbh I couldn't handle today, I asked my wife to hide my phone so I could just see the FT result, ended up on my phone at 15.04 and then tablet and Jeff on by half time  :occasion5:

Great support today. Had a chat to a few Hull fans in the social opposite the ground and good lads. Best fancy dress I saw was on the front seat of a coach arriving as we were walking up prior to KO. I only hope that Osama got let in and not let off. One of the lady coppers was a right sort too which was nice. I asked if she would like to take down my particulars on the way out.

My first time there and I was very impressed with the interior design and how it sweeps around into to the curved apex of the main stand. The interior roof down-slopes also amplify the acoustics. Feck me, in elation I've gone all Lawrence Llewellyn Bowyers Sausages. Its a nice ground blud, ya get me cuz.

I have been to Hull about loads and believe it or not apart from Millwall it was one of the dodgiest places to go.

There was a time when they would have 3-400 lads out waiting for us, the silver cod squad, TTKK

Totally agree Phil.

There hardly seemed to be a pause in the singing - it was superb.

Even a new song about winning the Welsh Cup loads, FA Cup and beating Real Madrid :laughing6: - didn't catch all the words.

Yes, we stayed with 3YO Grandson until the stadium almost emptied. Saw Hulls' end of season walkaround. There were more City fans left than their own! As Marshy & Campbell walked passed us we chanted "Marshy do the ayatolla". He seemed a bit uncomfortable at first, but probably thought you lot think more of me than this lot, then he dutyfully did the Ayatolla to a round of applause. Campbell did the same (as well as also during the game). Top players. :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Brilliant. Love Marshy and Campbell and I bet asking to do the Ayatollah means something special to them as it shows their still much appreciated by us. Was great that FC did it during the match too. :ayatollah:

Yes with all the talk of McGregor going to Rangers I was praying Marshy didn't play as you just know how good he can be and would surely have had a worldy against us. Imagine if that would have stopped us winning and so on. Nice to see him to show our appreciation for what he did for us though. I think he knows.

I can just make out my distinctive black shiny gloves and white paper suit arms at the back of the stand in the second picture down. Last minute fancy dress decision to go as a Butcher, which was better than the Right said Fred vest I wore on the coach. Feel free to scroll back to the top for a game of where’s Wally.

Yesterday had an old-school atmosphere, created by a newer generation and life long memories were created. :bluescarf:

“We’re the famous Cardiff City, we come from Sloper Road,
We talk about the Welsh Cup, we’ve won it f****** loads,
We’ve beat Real Madrid, and won the FA Cup,
And still they don’t believe us, the blues are going up...
Allay allay allay...”

I don’t think that’s far out, but I was still practising on the way home and again this morning.
