Draw tomorrow hugely better than defeat.

Fri Apr 27, 2018 7:56 am

There's been a lot of speculation that a draw tomorrow is as good as the defeat. That's not the case in my opinion. Yes it means our fate is out of our hands but it would leave Fulham needing to win in Birmingham. If results at the bottom go against them tomorrow, them losing and Bolton / Barnsley winning, they may well need something out of that game.

tomorrows results for Bolton and Barnsley are massive for Cardiff - Brum needing something from last game would be a big help :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

I'd be happy to see us lose our last two games as long as Fulham & Villa do the same thing. :bluescarf:

I don't really see how a draw helps?

Clearly a win is better than anything else as it remains in our hands. If we draw, Fulham would have to beat Birmingham to stay above us. If we lose they need only draw with Birmingham to stay above us.

If you dont get 6pts from 2 games you have to rely on Fulham :old: not sure how anything less than keeping it out of reach is anything other than paramount for us :old: :old: :old: :bluebird: :ayatollah: :old: 8

Has nobody clocked that reading are on the same points as Birmingham?

Everyone seems to be saying Brum will be a tough game because they might be fighting to stay up but nobody seems to be saying the same about Reading?!

I think we're just hoping that Reading do the business at home to Ipswich. A point would probably be enough given the goal difference. We're also taking for granted that Brum lose at QPR which is far from certain. Barnsley get les than a win and its all down to playing for pride anyway.

The difference being we will be at home mate, Reading have only won one away game since the start of December and that was away to Burton, you are right though, they could potentially be fighting for their lives.

Simple, last chance saloon. City need to win tomorrow ( if Fulham win tonight) otherwise huge momentum and advantage goes to Fulham.

Can you see Fulham slipping up against B’ ham on the last day off the season having gone 20 odd games without defeat? I rather us win tomorrow and go all out for that win rather than settle for a draw. I rather promotion being in our hands than relying on B’ham getting a result against Fulham.

It's simple win the next two games and that's it.

i agreed with this when i read it earlier not so sure now. it seems Fulham are not allowed to lose.or not go up.

People saying they don’t see how a draw helps? Get a grip. If we draw tomorrow it will mean Fulham HAVE to win against brum away. Makes hell of a difference than having to get a draw. We have a home game and they are away. More pressure if they have to win.

Seems that way! only hope we don't get a dodgy decision against us tomorrow? A draw was never going to be enough :old:

Impossible to beat Fulham when the referees are winning their man of the match awards each game !!!

If Sunderland had held and beaten Burton last week and still been in with a chance of survival there would be meltdown in the football world tonight. In the north east anyway but they carry far more football clout than we do.

A draw is still better tomorrow than defeat. It means the difference between them having to win or draw at Brum. Clearly its better if we win as its in our own hands.

ffs win our 2 games we are up end of that's it really its up to the players, if they want extra money its in there hands. We need players that fight for the club and them selves. easy really
