Joe Bennett did well but can't see the early Mendez-Laing love-in. He missed the chance of the game for us!

A tough week for City and we looked tired from the hour mark. I was surprised no changes were made until late on (I would have taken Gunnar off) and I believe it cost us!

We live to fight another day but the task just got tougher!

Mendez-Laing for me, would’ve had 2 goals if not for the brilliance of their keeper, he saved Villa from losing

Bamba for me NML okay too the rest were shite particularly Gunner and Peltier.

Only a couple of players looked up to the the task last night in my opinion and they were NML and Bamba. Having said that Bamba was head and shoulders above any other player in blue.

If junior plays well, we invariably get a result.
Missing last 2 games but he is quality and will bounce back.

Would give it to all the defence if I had too, to have the amount of ball we did and keep Villa quiet basically all game was a top effort, Villa carved us open once in the second half and that was about it.
