VINCE ALM:

Norwich update; for those umming and ahhing about Norwich make your minds up quick!

Norwich are sold out and due to our low sales are asking for some tickets back from our allocation of 2000.

Ticket sales less than 700 and we are 2nd in the Championship

I don’t understand what the club need to do, we’re 2nd for god sake, we will probably take 2000 to hull and probably not 1000 to Norwich , are fans come out of nowhere , we bring 1600 to wolves and then 2600 to villa on Tuesday night , we only bring 1000 to Sheffield (great support though) and 3200 to fulham but can’t even sell out bristol? Our fans need to start supporting us home and away I admit it is hard and that we are further away but look at Coventry in league 2 getting 9000 Home attendances and bringing 1500+ to every away game

I would love to go and take my son. But 90 pound plus is asking a lot.

Big price diffrence between League 2 away tickets than Championship clubs, I still do not get why people get so wound up about it, if its poor away support then so be it, the ones going are supporting if people cannot or do not want to go then it is what it is. You said it yourself only 1000 to Sheffield but great support, thats all that matters :bluebird:

yeh i undertsnad but we will probably take 2000 to newcastle if we go up at those prices?
if we get 1100 at Norwich i think that would be a good turnout :bluescarf:

Once again I will try to educate you.the clubs with the biggest support both home and away are the clubs who have spent the most seasons in the top division. Only two clubs buck that trend Norwich city and Bolton wanderers.

This is how things panned out for me Vince
Fan since 1980. Season ticket holder (me and two kids) for 12 years. Sixty odd away grounds following Cardiff.
For me, things changed in the seasons leading up to being promoted to the Prem' .Wasn't really enjoying away trips and had began to feel that the club considered the fans to be an inconvenience.
The year after our relegation, my kids became too old for me to stay in the family stand, so I needed to relocate my three season tickets. If the club had shown any interest in assisting with this relocation, I've no doubt I'd still be going now, but there was no interest on the club's part to secure my business. It confirmed to me how I'd felt for a while regarding the club's attitude to its supporters.
This, combined with it being a 100 mile round trip for home games, meant I've only been to 2 games since.
The club hasn't helped itself one bit. And I'm not surprised that fans are selective 're when and where they spend their money.

We were only given 1500 to start, and I expect that will be more than enough.

More likely Norwich are asking us to stick or twist over the other 500 or do.

5 aways in just over 3 weeks with 3 of them being midweek games and 2 very long trips is a fair old test for our fans.

Haven't had time to sort my Norwich tickets yet, anwaiting on a couple of confirmations, but that'll be a dozen or so more gone.

Hull is the next trip for me. That'll be my 8th trip of the season, it would have been more if not for all the fixture changes and postponements.

Anyway know when the Hull tickets go on sale?

true i wish we could have like Bristol and wolves and close games on Tuesday then presto on Saturdays and Ipswich,
Hull tickets go on sale 2-3 weeks before so im guessing before Friday.
