Here we go from the official Aston Villa web-site...that Google is a wonderful thing! ;)

Travel & Parking at Villa Park

To ensure you have an enjoyable visit to Villa Park, we recommend you plan your journey.

In order to do this, we have provided detailed information relating to public transport, use of roads around the stadium and parking.

Getting to Villa Park by car

To find Villa Park as a reference point using your GPS our postcode is B6 6HE, which will assist in making sure you are in the correct part of Birmingham, but in general you will find Aston Villa as a Point of Interest (POI) in most GPS satellite navigation units.

When parking at the stadium on a non-matchday, you should access Villa Park via the Witton Road entrance, and should therefore use B6 6QE as the postcode you input into your satellite navigation system.

Important note for matchdays - do not use the stadium as your destination on GPS satellite navigation units, unless you have access to stadium car parks (permit only).

You should plan your journey in advance according to which direction you are travelling from and identify the official car park you intend to use.

Allow plenty of time to park and walk to the stadium - the earlier the better.

The further away you park, the easier your journey home after the match will be.

Getting here by motorbike

On matchday, please use any official car park for motorbike parking.

Charges may vary to car park charges.

On non-matchdays, please use the stadium car parks.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

I wouldn't use your sat nav if travelling from Warwick. It will take you all the way through from one side of Birmingham to the other. At that time of day, it will be busy and take long.

I would go M40, M42(N), M6(N). Straight up to J6 and then onto the A38 Aston Expressway, towards the City Centre for about a mile to the first turn off.

As you go up the slip road, stay in the left hand lane, turn left onto a dual carriageway then almost straight left again. Follow the road around to your left and there are two small housing estate car parks that are supervised on the right. The residents all move their cars out on match days and charge about £5 for matchday parking. Further round to the left is a school which charges 35 to park as well. In recent weeks, this has been limited though as they've stopped cars parking on the grass.

This is where we park if we go in by car. It's as near as you will get to the ground and is good for getting in and out. Bear in mind that afterwards, you will be forced to turn left when you hit the dual carriageway going out but there is an island 200 yards down, so you just go all the way round and you're back on the Aston Expressway again and out.
