I would rather be in Neil Warnocks / Cardiff City’s position than Fulham’s and so would Fulham

Correct all in our hands

I'm expecting us to beat Villa. They seem to have gone off the boil.
We now need the win there and have put a lot of pressure on ourselves. I'm putting faith in Warnock to get the best out of Holiett, Zorhore and NML. Get this one out of the way with the 3 points and the pressure will be back on Fulham.

I totally agree.
If we were potentially 5 adrift of Fulham we wouldn't be confident.

I think Fulham will get 2nd, not because of us bottling it or other such nonsense talk, merely because Fulham are in incredible form that nobody should be expected to live with. In another year we’d be fine but Fulham are on a run that will rarely be repeated.
I think they will win their last 5 games but probably 4 wins will be enough - if they do it then they will deserve promotion. We still have the play offs and Warnock has a good record so you still never know.

Fulham will hit a blip at some point, feel we must get 4 points from next two games.I still believe we will get automatically promoted as there is too much character in this squad.

Just need to be positive on the pitch as well...... We need to play 2 up top and go for it. Worse case scenario is the playoffs....Just go for it Neil

Annis, you're bang on there!
I can fully understand the disappointment after this weekend's results (Villa had already dropped out in my mind) but the overreaction from some is incredible!
I'm at Villa on Tuesday (and again at Derby) and these are games of a stature most sane City followers didn't expect to be involved in this season
I'm loving it and I'm sure the manager is too! He (Neil Warnock) will manage the situation and it's not as if we were 'hammered' by Wolves, is it? They were a little fortunate with the goal and we were very unfortunate not to score first (Bennett) and with the penalties!
As they say, on another day...!
We're still in there, we still have a lead and we still have a game in hand. It's still very much in our hands and we're due a result away against Villa; almost as much as Fulham are due a poor result after an amazing run
Not a good time for City fans to start bottling it. It's time for them to give the team confidence and support!

I think our players are going to be bouncing in the changing room at Villa park on Tuesday...!
If you think about it, I think them losing today will give us an edge...! On slightly, but enough for us to pick up three points.

Villa is now a must win game simply because out of our remaining away games they're in the poorest form at the moment. Fulham may or may not drop points but we need at least 14 points. That's either 4 wins and 2 draws out of the last 6 ( at least 2 must be won away) or 5 straight wins. Norwich doesn't seem so easy after today's performance so Villa seems more winnable. One game at a time but we must sweep Villa aside.

This is where the derby cheats will come back to haunt us. Had we rightly played derby that day I believe we would have won. They were not in form and had a depleted team / squad. When we do play them they are going to be in a much stronger position. Those 3 pts would have been massive. We just haven’t had the luck when we most needed it.
Sat Apr 07, 2018 9:26 pm
If it was 10 games to go I'd be massively concerned. Fulham only have 5 games left and we have a 2 point gap and a game in hand. Yes we need to start winning games but we still have room for error and I refuse to believe Fulham will win them all.

Was always going to be close and Fulham were going to get even closer to us but we still look as if we can win games our run came to end as all runs do? With Fulham they cannot afford to drop any points and if they manage to win next 5 games nothing we could do about it and they deserve to go up its that simple.

Unless we win 5 of our remaining 6 games

Still in our hands.

Yes it's down to us not Fulham! And we ate more than capable of winning at least 4 games

Law of averages tells you they are due to drop some points, I don’t think they will win all of the rest especially Brentford and Millwall, if we win all of ours the viewer they could get is five points behind us.
We’ve had a bit of bad luck, they are due some !!!
