I said when we were discussing Jan targets he would be a great loan signing.
Instead we signed Madine for 'apparently' £6M which for me was strange at the time as I do not feel he is a PL player. A loan would have been ideal given the position we are in and of course would allow the funds to be used to strengthen the squad next season.
Just hope he isn't the man that fires Fulham above us for the 2nd spot.

Do’nt slag Madine off, he’s the darling of this message board.

Tbf with the lack of chances we create for any of our strikers I don't think it would have made that big of a difference. I mean how many chances has Madine actually had since arriving here? 1 maybe 2 in 4-5 games. Even Zohore gets no service from the midfield and might get 1 chance a game if he's lucky. You could stick Aguero up front for us and he would struggle. The striker gets never gets any service from the midfield, and the only service he gets is from our wingers who play more as full backs at times. Whoever is up front gets totally isolated.

Anyway, even if we didn’t have chance to sign I’m glad we didn’t, don’t like him...Just can’t see him in a Cardiff shirt

Doubt that Benitez would have let him come to us on loan.
Him and Warnock not really best buddies by any stretch of the imagination!

We knows it's not 6m, it's been made clear it's only 6m if we go up in which case he would have been worth it.
I think he has been average but let's give him a chance.

Really irritates me the 6 million comment, it's 2 million and could be 6 depending on if we go up or not.
