Last Nights Performance

There is nothing to be negative about when you lose to the top team in the Division by an excellently taken free kick.

Even though we missed 2 penalties the big plus was the way City responded to going behind. The team fought to the end and never gave up. If that performance is replicated in the remaining games then City will go up automatically. They showed great character in fighting until the very last kick of the game. A great team spirit.

The other factor to take into account was the fact Wolves had 11 players behind the ball at set prices and were probably the best defence that City played against all season. :bluebird:

The best defence and attack we've played all season. And we more than held our own without our 2 best midfielders.

The future is bright. Feel gutted for 5 mins. Then move on. Forget the penalties. Joe Bennett missed an easy chance too. And the free kick was excellently saved by their keeper.

Got a feeling we'll do Villa if we play like that.
