Manager
Neil Warnock (Cardiff) The 69-year-old has had a superb season in the dugout at Cardiff City, guiding the Bluebirds to second place in the Championship table. Warnock’s side have hit a remarkable run of form in recent weeks to give themselves a five point cushion in the automatic promotion places over third place Fulham. Before Monday night’s dramatic draw at Sheffield United, Cardiff had won eight straight league games.
Goalkeeper
John Ruddy (Wolves) The former Norwich City shot-stopper has helped table toppers Wolves to 19 clean sheets this season as Nuno Espírito Santo’s side have charged towards promotion. The former England international signed a two year contract with Wolves in the summer after ending his seven year spell with the Canaries.
Defenders
Ryan Fredericks (Fulham) The right-back has been an ever present in Slaviša Jokanović’s side this season as The Cottagers have kept the pace with the Championship front runners. The 25-year-old has chipped in with seven assists this season.
John Terry (Aston Villa) The Villa captain has put in a string of impressive performances this season to place Steve Bruce’s side firmly in the Championship play-off race. The 37-year-old made the move to Villa Park after ending his 19 year spell at Chelsea and has helped the club move to 4th place in the table.
Conor Coady (Wolves) Coady’s performances in the heart of the Wolves defense have been a key reason as to why the West Midlands club have conceded less than a goal a game this season. The 25-year-old joined Wolves from Huddersfield for £2 million in 2015 and has gone on to make over 100 appearances for the club.
Ryan Sessegnon (Fulham) The 17-year-old wing back has been a revelation this season, with some even describing him as an outside bet for making Gareth Southgate’s England side this summer. Sessegnon has netted a hugely impressive 14 goals this campaign and has contributed five assists.
Midfielders
Tom Cairney (Fulham) Jokanović’s side fought tooth and nail to keep the 27-year-old midfielder at Craven Cottage during the January transfer window, rejecting substantial offers from West Ham United. Cairney has been a calming influence in Fulham’s midfield this season and netted his fourth league goal of the campaign in The Cottagers’ 2-0 win at Norwich on Good Friday.
Ruben Neves (Wolves) Wolves made headlines last summer when they smashed their club record transfer fee to sign Neves from Porto in a move believed to be worth almost £16 million. Although there were some doubts about how easily the 21-year-old would be able to adapt to the physicality of the Football League, Neves has impressed fans and pundits alike during his 34 appearances for the Championship table toppers.
James Maddison (Norwich) After spending the latter part of last season on loan at SPL club Aberdeen, Maddison hit the ground running immediately this campaign, helping Daniel Farke’s side to an impressive start. The 21-year-old midfielder has been the stand out performer for the Canaries this season and picked up the EFL’s Young Player of the Month award for March.
Bobby Reid (Bristol City) The 25-year-old has finally realized his potential this season and is currently sitting in second place in the Championship goal scoring charts having found the net 17 times this campaign. Reid’s goals have helped Bristol City move towards the fringes of the play-off positions.
Strikers
Albert Adomah (Aston Villa) The 30-year-old Ghana international has had his most prolific season in front of goal this campaign, netting 14 times so far this campaign. Adomah joined Villa from Middlesbrough at the start of last season, having made over 100 appearances for the North Yorkshire club.
Matej Vydra (Derby) Vydra moved to the top of the Championship goal scoring charts after finding the net against Sunderland on Good Friday. The 25-year-old Czech Republic international is a proven performer in England’s second tier having won the Championship Player of the Year award in 2013, when playing for Watford.

Manager wise without a doubt
But some of those players do not merit being in the team of the season, Vydra FFS he's been useless, seen more guile in Porthcawl Beach Donkeys.

Junior Hoilett is easily the best wide player in the Championship and surely at least one of either Morrison or Bamba has to be in the defence as we have the best defence in the Championship.

He’s been useless?
I’d take him for our starting 11 any day of the week.
How Bamba and/or Morrison are not in is completely baffling.

Not being funny. A quick look at a statistical website which may use differing algorithms etc to figure stuff out. But they generally all agree.

To add Joe Bennett is 56th and Manga 20th. That's our whold defence ahead of Terry!
