A forum for all things Cardiff City

For me this week is absolutely crucial to learn our fate.
I thought we looked v poor in Sheffield, possibly the worst all season (behind the Bham game) and just hope it was a 1 off. I am extremely nervous about the next 2 games - can actually see us losing both (hopefully not obviously) but I just wish Fulham would start wobbling as they are steamrolling.
Villa will be so hungry when we go there on Tuesday, especially if we dont get a result to Wolves. This game for me is the big one. Beat wolves and we go to Villa in confidence. Lose and all of a sudden pressure is on big time at Villa PArk.
Come on city - put us out of our misery. The last 10 years mid 80's has been enough to go up in second yet its typical the year we are knocking on the door its going to be 90 points +

Banish any negative thoughts you wouldn't swap places with the other 2 teams, Wolves couldn't beat Hull at home, Reading played most of the game with 10 players. We have beaten both teams and the atmosphere will be electric Friday and we will perform. We can still afford to lose another 2 games so the pressure is on the other teams to keep going. Although we were poor the other night you have to give credit to Sheffield for adapting to the conditions better. That late goal will have maintened our confidence not shattered it.

I totally agree with 65blue's comments, I'd much rather be supporting a team in our position as opposed to Fulham or Villa, our side has shown tremendous team spirit to come back from a mid winter wobble to now be on a unbeaten run that has us sat comfortably in second, not forgetting all.of our injury problems along the way.
Now is not the time for doubting our ability to get promotion, it's time to sing the praises of our achievements, bring on Wolves I say, You are my Cardiff.!!!!!

Sheffield Wednesday and Millwall, Fulham's next two away games, hardly easy games. Sheffield Wed won last 3. Millwall unbeaten since new years day. They won't get 6 points.

Im quite excited for the next game, I think its just what we need. The winning run was never going to last forever but we still got a point. Now the players have the motivation to bounce back against the top team in the league and to get in touching distance of them at a full(ish) city stadium with an evening kick off. We need to stop counting how many points we are ahead, they are nothing more than a cushion anyway. Lets beat wolves and push for top spot then whose in 3rd wont matter. Wolves wont be overally keen on coming here either.
