Delighted for Pilks tonight
A match that proved that the whole squad have a part to play, with Pilks getting the goal. Delighted for him because he never moans about not starting and hasn’t stopped working hard in training all season
We’ve had a lot of players over the last few years who have been happy to take the money and don’t bother to put in effort in training, but not Pilks
Great to see how much it mattered to him

Deffo, my man of the match for tonight - well done Pilks a massive point for the team

Such an underrated player and should have been utilised a lot more this season.
5 goals this season with limited opportunities. Like Patterson, Pilks will always score goals.

Def underrated and used as a scape goat in the past despite being our only attacking threat in the team at one point.

I have been critical of him as being a lone striker but he can pop at crucial times and is a decent finisher credit to him for not just being a passenger in the squad.

Like NW says. He has never complained and just got on with it. Deserves so much credit and well done Pilks

He's a great player. Been like it since he signed for us. Constantly made a scapegoat for what I don't know.
Easy target. Always gives 100%
Well played Anthony.

He is still good in front of goal too, when you need him he is there and takes his chances !!!

I've always supported him against knockers on these boards. What he lacks in pace he makes up for in guile.
Always gives 100 % and never gave up, even when he played in the reserves.

He should be rewarded for all he's done this season with a place in the starting line up soon

I've always supported Pilkington, but I think the way he is being used is a great ploy. We play with Kenny for most of the game & then possibly Madine. Two totally different types of player. If that works then fine, BUT if it doesn't, to able to bring Pilks on who is a totally different player again, is an asset. Most defences would struggle to change their styles & setup within that short time. I think that's a big factor in the way he's scored these goals coming off the bench this year. Cue the "supersub" nametag.

I always seen him as a centre midfielder myself, ever since the first game he played for us he never looked like a winger, got a lot of traits that makes a good centre midfielder.

Not a fan, just being consistent but great super sub. What is his goals per minute this season, must be better than Ronaldo!
His problem is he's not fast enough to be a winger which was his original position, not really a striker. Probably be more effective in that role if playing alongside Zohore or Madine.
