A mate of mine thinks Morrison should inherit the “here’s to you Peter Whittingham” song as he’s our Captain and fast becoming an all time favourite. I tend to agree with him.

Regarding the OP, I love it and it’s a song that naturally keeps going which is another plus.

'A dream....to save a football team'? Isn't that pinched from the Wurzels? The 82ers? Sorry to be a wet blanket!

I think "We had no money so we brought in freebies and loans" fits perfectly when thinking of our Wales version of "We had no strikers so we played with 5 at the back".

Its hardly copying wolves is it. All clubs sing songs to same tunes.

Mind the gap is actually man City. The tune is man utd.

Well it is really. Wolves sing "Mind the gap Aston Villa" because they've decided that they are now some kind of rivals to us. Nobody else has sung "Mind the gap Aston Villa" yet now you are doing so. So did you make it up or have you copied Wolves? Why not "Mind the gap Bristol City"? Surely they are more of a rival to you than we are?

As for the other one, they sing almost identical words apart from "5 at the back with the rest in attack" which is almost identical to what is written in post #1. Again, it's copying Wolves.

I love this!

The only thing I would recommend is possibly dropping the entire 2nd verse (the one starting with the word pardon) in order to make it easier for the fans to remember all the words.
