Rubbish!

Sun Apr 01, 2018 8:06 am

Just had a peep on the FFC forum, they seem to have mixed views on top two, but some type some drivel! One poster says, "ive seen most of Cardiffs anti football and nearly every goal is a header"! Talk about bullshit; but the guy believes it :banghead:

Don't worry about it. Some of our fans would do the same! ;)

At the end of the day (or season in our case) points make prizes and we've currently got more than them!

We play an effective and surprisingly attractive style of football that involves patience as much as hard work and guile.

Should we achieve the dream this season, we can sit back and enjoy the annual battle to claim the play-off lottery prize competition! :thumbright:

When I read other clubs forums and see the predictable 'Cardiff/Warnock anti-football' commemts, I immediately know that the poster has arse and elbow tattoos so he can tell which is which.

We lost 4 on bounce in December and 4 months on we can extend gap to 10 points .. that says a lot about our ‘anti-football’

Jealous team fans haven’t a clue

Numbers don’t lie

We play great football in the right area of the pitch. Our goals against show that we take no chances in our own box so if that means hoofing it so be it I can live with that. Long time since I've enjoyed watching the city this much probably way back to Eddie Mays time.

As soon as other supporters start spouting out about hoof ball and anti football it's pretty obvious they don't know what they are talking about

Anybody who has watched us over the whole season will know that we play some decent football, yes we get the ball forward quickly wouldn't you if you had Ken, NML and Holliett up front??

We defend properly..i.e we are strong, dominant and take no prisoners and unlike lots of others teams we haven't lost the ability to actually tackle!!

I maybe old school but I like my defenders to defend not fanny about passing the ball amongst themselves going nowhere for 30 seconds before inevitably hoofing the ball forward aimlessly when put under pressure

Total rubbish. Only 6 of the 30 goals we've scored since the new year have been headers.

Certain clubs fans want to play in a certain way. Ever since i can remember we have played with wingers and whip the ball in the box.
Lets be honest, even if Trollope had made it our fan base would be apoplectic with Whitts passing it to a Tom Cairney type then back to the centre half, "get it forward mun!" would be screaming from all fours sides.

Warnock and his brand of fast direct football suits this club and more importantly the majority of the fans.

When opposition fans moan about hoofball and physicality it shows they are worried. I love it. (i know we are not playing them)

Our position owes a lot to too many championship team trying to play "the right way" and being piss poor at it. We struggle with mirror images of us. Preston & Millwall have been troublesome for us.Tomorrow may be our toughest game of the run in.

Fulham play their way, we play our. IMO they have always been a little fancy Dan more image over substance club. Each to their own.
They play Leeds, Wednesday, Millwall who all have monsters up front and Brentford in a derby with Sunderland and Brum in a relegation battle.

In the 4 games we played in November we scored 1 header which was off a set piece v Forest away.

In the 6 games we played in December we scored 2 headers which 2 came in open play v Hull and Fulham home.

In the 3 games played in January we scored 1 header which was off a set piece v Sunderland home.

Dando, I am concerned we don't score enough from set plays !!!!! Five from set plays, that is quite poor especially where we have come from.

I wonder how many of Fulhams goals have been headers?
