CARDIFF CITY MARCH ON,EVEN AFTER 2 GOALS DISALLOWED & LOOK EVEN CLOSER TO BEING IN THE PREMIER LEAGUE NEXT SEASON.

Relegation threatened Burton gave their all,but from 30mins on,they were no match for Neil Warnocks Premier League bound Cardiff City


Cardiff totally deserved the 3pts



THIS WAS CARDIFF CARDIFF CITY'S 8TH WIN IN A ROW & CITY ARE NOW UNDEFEATED IN 12 GAMES



First-half: A few frights from Burton in the first-half but City finally took control and went in 2-1

Relegation threatened Burton started lively, but thanks to a close range shot by Kenneth Zohore, City were 1-0 up in 16th min

Then bang 22nd min Darren Bent equalised from again close range 1-1


Cardiff then put the pressure on Burton.

Bruno Manga was beaten a few times today.

Then pressure finally paid off by Cardiff and in the 45th min Mendez-Laing made 2-1 City

Cardiff started the second-half creating chances and putting Burton under pressure.


Cardiff thought they’d gone 3-1 up as Bamba did brilliantly to win possession, and Zohore managed to flick on Bennett’s cross, and Bamba headed into the net. But it was off for offside.

Bryson replaced Gunnarsson.

Kenneth Zohore replaced by Gary Madine.

64th min Callum Paterson made it 3-1

City had a 2nd goal disallowed, foul on Burton goalie.

The final sub for Cardiff was Wildschut who replaced Mendez-Laing.

For me Carl this was an excellent result as teams like Burton can be tougher than mid table clubs and even clubs near the top as they are fighting for their lives

A very comfortable win only dampened by the Norwich result.

MOTM for me was NML who took that goal with all the confidence in the world. It does look like he is back to his best now and that will see us over the line.

Great win and fully deserved,we look a match for anyone at the moment.Really need Hoillet,Laing and Zohore fit for all our games as they cause teams so much trouble.

Brilliant result, could have been a tricky one but result never really felt in doubt, we should have had a few more really.

Teams like Burton have nothing at all to lose and everything to gain coming to places like Cardiff. Too be fair our class showed in the end and it could have been quite a few more.
What impressed me most to go alongside the skill and pace of Hoilet and Mendez was the composure and leadership of Morrison,Grujic and Bennett who is becoming an outstanding full back

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know why that guy was taken out of the stand (117) and passed on to the police in the second half?

Wasn't a youngster but they seemed to be telling him they'd seen something on the police monitors?

That is a very good question.

I feel we have been quite hard done by but honestly I only watch highlights of other championship games which may not show all disallowed goals. So I'm not sure if we are really hard done by or whether officials are chalking off goals for everyone.
