From last 9 games with this squad and manager, if we fall short id be surprised or if it aint enough, then another go in play offs, if we fail in play offs so be it. That would give us 91 points which in my opinion will be the figure which should guarantee second place.

There seems to be a lot of acceptance that Villa or Fulham will win all their remaining games specially Fulham.

If they do then we need 18 points for an auto place. 18 out of a possible 27 is achievable. However it is highly unlikely we will need that as the chances of Villa or Fulham winning all remaining games is even more highly unlikely. If either team slip up with a draw then our target is 16 points. Another draw and our target is below the 15 points the OP is saying we need. It will take some doing for either to get 6 wins and 2 draws in the remaining 8 games.

I'm not having a go at posters here saying we need this or that many points. I've said it myself somewhere that we need 18 points for an auto place. I'm just trying to get everyone relaxed as really if ever it is in our hands its now. All other supporters I know have accepted us as already supported. How do I know that? Well none of them are taking the piss now.

Personally, prefer us in Championship as I hated the Premier League not because of the red or the style of crap we were playing just didn't enjoy it one bit

If we do make it hopefully it will be better this time, we have a Manager that is likely to last the whole season no matter what, and he won't make the mistakes malky made, like Cornelius !

Can't wait for Prem if we reach it, Warnock on MOTD giving it banter, cracking football, players who want to play for the manager and passion, will be totally different to Malky era, couldn't stand him or his negative football.

Have to agree with you on this, anything is possible with the results of the three of us, but Fulham + Villa are NOT going to win all their remaining games therefoe in my opinion another 12 points (4 wins /3 wins + 3 draws) will be enough to see us up.

Actually I meant "all other supporters I know Accept us as already up" and not supported. I really should proof read that I post.
