I remember and the Ref was a nightmare, plus Mallo ran on the pitch when it was 2-7 to get at the Ref
I was sat in the Canton Stand, we use to have about 250 lads/singers together

About 50 were from the Rhondda, bad on the pitch, but still good off it days. The 'Trebanog' song was often sung in there.

I ran the ones from the Rhondda in the 80's, before TB's time-though his Dad was on some of them. Gaffers trips later on were good, but nothing like back in the day, not being disrespectful in any way. It was just a different, far more violent era!
