" MICK McCARTHY FUTURE RESOLVED SOON "
26/03/18
Owner Marcus Evans says Ipswich supporters will know well before the early bird deadline for season tickets on April 30 whether Mick McCarthy will remain as manager.
McCarthy's current contract runs out in the summer and discussions will take place between manager and owner soon.
In a letter going out to season ticket holders, Evans said: “I continue to have a very good relationship with Mick. We talk regularly and we will sit down and discuss the best way forward for this football club in the next few weeks. And that is the sole concern for me - what is best for Ipswich Town."

Has done a decent job with limited funds I guess but the football is dire, Ipswich fans dislike him and are staying away and they don't seem to be going anywhere, just constantly going round in circles. Look at teams like Brentford, Millwall, QPR all have a plan going forward (Brentford signing young players whilst playing passing football) Milwall (Direct, Aggressive football) QPR (Investing in youth, and now promoting from academy). Whilst Ipswich just sign experienced, average players to finish 12th every season. At least give the fans something or look forward to if your not gonna realistically challenge top 6.
