Norwich Train and Hotel-for anyone interested.

Sun Mar 25, 2018 4:50 pm

For anyone thinking of spending the weekend up at Norwich I have just booked train from Cardiff and two nights in Premier Inn for me and my adult son for just over £100 each. That's seems a real bargain. Its with rail cards admittedly but even without them it was only £125.

That's the five to six from Cardiff on Saturday morning (five to seven train was the same price) getting in Norwich just before midday and mid morning train back on Monday. Hotel is 100 yards from the station and half a mile from the ground so can probably check in and drop bags off before the game. I know its not for everyone as most have to be in work on Monday but thought I would just pass the info on for those who fancy it.

Its going to be an up and down for me 10 hours on the coach and a few hours in the pub isn't going to be good for my head on the Sunday mind

New to the forum. Travelling in the car from Reading. Still 2 & a 1/2 hours from here...

Unfortunately, limited beer due to the car.

For anyone making the long drive, Norfolk County Hall is good for parking. £8 and plenty of spaces  :bluebird: :ayatollah:

Not sure if the police will allow it but I can't see a problem parking with the coaches.. this is pretty much outside the stadium. :thumbright:
Perhaps someone else can confirm.

You're right on the coaches front, unsure on the parameters on that. Hopefully someone can confirm as its less than 10 minutes to the ground. As for cars, as above, it seems the best place :thumbright:

You have to change at Paddington and get tube across to Liverpool Street. Train then to Norwich. The tube ticket is included in the price. There is hour and a quarter to get across London so plenty of time.
