The 3 Stages of the Season That Defines a Neil Warnock Team

1) After an underwhelming summer without any big name signings we got off to an absolute flier winning 5 games on the bounce, giving us a head start on the rest.

2) After a shaky September - November with losses to Birmingham and Bristol City plus a 0-0 at home to Millwall we went on a run of 5 wins and 1 draw in 6 games on the run up to Christmas

3) An horrendous Christmas period where we lost 4 games in a row and really only the QPR game did we resemble anything like ourselves we then have gone into 2018 and remained unbeaten winning 6 and drawing 1 of our last 7 games to keep us in the automatic spots.

Grinding out wins, winning when it is ugly, keeping clean sheets and somehow turning over teams with bigger budgets and "better squads" when we've on numerous times this season lost our quality players to injury.

What an unbelievable effort from everyone involved considering where we were 10 games into last season and the feeling and atmosphere among every fan, the manager deserves massive praise and the players for responding to him and going on these 3 incredible runs this season

I'm not one to jump on the attendance bandwagon but everyone involved with Cardiff City have gone above and beyond everyone's expectations this season it's now time to repay that and support them over the line
