Mile End Wanderer:
sorry for being the doom merchant on the latest odds but look at the run in they certainly have easier games than us. We can only afford to lose three more games?? At that price the bookies will get the punters

oldgoldheart:
just went through the fixtures and was realistic about us and optimistic about villa/cardiff. i got us going up in second on 91 points even then and that includes defeats to boro, cardiff, villa and derby and a draw away at leeds. couldnt get villa over 89 points even with them winning the next 8 games in a row

NorthWestWolf:
You were lucky.
I had a guy behind me shouting abuse the whole game. I couldn't repeat what he was saying when the subs were being made. I went down to the loo after the 2nd goal and the amount of people in the concourse watching on the TVs was unbelievable. Fair few leaving as well.

It would be funny if they finished 2nd but 3rd would make me piss my pants. Imagine they had to play Fulham in the play offs :laughing6:

These numpties have been incredibly mouthy for months. One bad week and they crawl back under their stones like the little bitches that they are.

Sadly, they have enough in the bag to see them into one of the automatic slots.

I'm going to push the boat out here and say that the other spot is between Villa & Cardiff.

I can't see Fulham making up 8 points on yourselves and if they make the 4 points up on us, it will mean that we haven't done enough to catch or keep up with you. Derby don't look to have it in them either and are 7 points behind you.

The massive games fall within a few days of each other:

Cardiff v Wolves and Villa v Cardiff

Any points you lot drop before them in order to narrow the 4 point gap will be greatly appreciated.

ps - If Fulham do blast through with something like 9 or 10 wins out of 12 then hats off to them.

I think it's going to be a real test for them next 2-3 games to see how they react from their recent results.

Like when we lost 4 straight games over Christmas we have bounced back even after the Man City game and I think credit to goes to everyone involved and the new signings who probably inspired the place and lifted the mood more.

I am sort of shocked how some of their fans I seen on twitter rave about the money and players they brought in, I think it is fantastic how they matched what they done in the window to go and do it in the league, when we pumped the money a lot of us when under MM in the 12/13 season were still wary and sceptical about getting up and if we could do it and I don't know if that was maybe down to past seasons where we 'bottled' it where Wolves never experienced that on more than once occasion in a small period of time.

But I be very surprised if they did get worse from here, they got a couple players who been there for 6-10 years think Danny Batth and Matt Doherty been there for that amount of time and both been with the club through a lot in that time and they are leaders at that club like what we had with McNaughton and Whittingham we had players who were so much high in terms of leaders but had a full understanding of the club and what the fans expect of the team.

AV - I think wolves will fall apart. They've got some tough games to come.

Hoping it will be Cardiff and Villa with Fulham to beat Wolves in the play offs :thumbright:

I hate to say it but another 4 wins out of their last 12 would probably be enough for them to sneak over the line.

It's pleasing that they've been bought down a peg or two though and talk of a 70,000 seat stadium for when they are in the Champions League has been put on hold. Another couple of wins and they'll start off again no doubt.

If Wolves don't win another game, I'll drive down to Caerphilly myself and buy your beer all night.

Waste your money! We are gonna win the league! Hopefully Fulham finish second and Cardiff and Villa do one in the play-offs. The best two footballing sides go up and two **** teams playing **** football stay down, to toil another year in the chump, working out how to play the beautiful game.

This absolute chump hasn't got a clue, Fulham do play lovely football but Wolves have been absolute shite to watch, narrowly winning 1-0's with officiating on their side, I really hope they lose a lot of games between now and end of the season.

I agree with this and said something similar in another post. As blistering as Fulhams form is 8 points is a huge ask with 12 games to go and Derby have a really tough run in playing sides with a reason to fight at both ends of the table.

If we can beat your lads I think we'll stay ahead of you and if anyone else can make up the ground then quite frankly they'll deserve it as it will need to be an incredible run.

It's great to see doubt creeping in with some of them even if,which they probably will, cross the line in top spot, but there not quite so cocky as they were.

To use a much overused quote, it's a funny old game only in January I had wolves on for 1st and a battle between yourselves and derby for second.

Going back to wolves, what shitty fans they have that after being top for so long and still being top one bad game they either leave early or watch it on the concourse.

Do not give a toss about Villa or WWilve, we just need to keep nicking those wins. Bollocks to the rest of them. :bluebird:

I was saying this in November, but if anything they pulled away in December and January, but it does seem to be catching up with them now, at a time when it's freezing and they are low with confidence.

Let the cold spell continue till May !!!!
