Why Neil Warnock is pleading with his Cardiff City players not to 'do a West Brom'By Joseph Chapman

The Bluebirds boss has requested his players be on their best behaviour in the run-inCardiff City boss Neil Warnock has instructed his squad to behave themselves in their Championship run-in - and to avoid doing a ‘West Brom’.
The Bluebirds have won four in a row and are in pole position to achieve automatic promotion back to the Premier League, ahead of the likes of Aston Villa, Derby and Fulham.
Upon being tipped off that members of his side were on a night out last Saturday (18th), Warnock looked into it himself - and was relieved to hear that the players were out with their other halves watching the highly anticipated fight between George Groves and Chris Eubank Jr.
With 12 games to go in the campaign, the 69-year-old has pleaded with his troops to remain focused on the task in hand, and not to repeat the antics of a group of Albion players who got up to no good in Barcelona.
“I brought up the West Brom thing with them,” Warnock said.
“I said ‘between now and the end of the season there will be people just looking for stories.’
“So don’t give them anything untoward, because we don’t need distractions.’
“When I was told about them drinking, I made my own enquiries and found out they were all together in the same place watching the boxing.
“It did bring a smile to my face because it wasn’t reported to me like that.
“They had their wives with them.
“I’ve been to a few functions and they’re a great bunch of girls.”
