What can I say the man is a true leader and doesn’t get enough praise in my opinion. 9 times out of 10 if he doesn’t play we fail to win, like today blocked and tackled everything that came his way, I have to be honest wasn’t his biggest fan at first but just like Hudson he has won me over and could go on to be a city legend.

I’ve got to say, I chuckled last summer, when Wednesday, reportedly, offered 4M for him. But the way he’s played this season i’d want double that. He’s been Captain Fantastic.

Yeah was kinda thinking the same, I think you see the value in someone like Morrison more in a good team and how much he contributes to that, and it’s not all down to footballing reasons.
Worth every penny of that 4m for me and a few more

its almost replicating the Hudson path, from the but of the moans to our captain and leader who the fans follow.

I say it time and time again just because you take a poo in public streets doesn't make you a bad footballer, got to remember our two centre halves were Ole signings all be it for a costly amount I think they have repaid their worth with how they played for us and the commitment.

Definitely proved his worth. Our 4 losses happened when he wasnt in the team and he chips in with a fair few goals too

I am delighted to admit that I was completely wrong about him. I was very critical of him last season and thought that he was not good enough for a team that was serious about a promotion push.
He's certainly made me eat my words this season and all credit to him for that. We were all over the place defensively when he was out injured and since he's come back we have started to look like the team that had the best defensive record in the division up to when he got injured.
One slightly worrying thing though - if we don't go up this season and the former Sheff Wed manager manages to keep the JB's up then he may well be back with a sizeable offer for a player he clearly admires.
The comparison with Hudson is a good one and Morrison is fast becoming essential to the way the team functions on the pitch.

Delighted to admit I've always been right about Morrison. Good to see people have finally noticed how good he is.

If there's anyone on this forum that needs to eat humble pie it's me. I will never slag Morrison off again, he is our man mountain.
Our leader

Yep, I have always banged the Morrison drum because he's a defender who can defend. Too many want a defender who has a great touch and can pass. While all that's great, a defender is in the team to do just that which Morrison does very well. It's also his organisation, yes he will have bad games, get done for pace and even outjumped at times. But when it happens remember all the good games, proper defender out Morrison. He's stepped up to the challenge layed down by Warnock.

Agree with all the above, we definitely miss him when he's not there. Hypothetical question (although I hope it turns into a reality) if we go up are Bruno, Sol and Morrison good enough for the premier league or would you bring in someone else. Although Man City could have stepped it up I thought Bruno and Morrison did alright last week. I'd personally bring in one more and keep all three.

He got slated on here for a while "he's not a true leader blah blah".

Generally don't answer these posts as currently we are 4th, but if that ever happened you strengthen in every single position on the pitch.

Absolute rock of a defender he really has stepped up this season thought he was a liability when he first came here.

It`s great seeing him doing his sh*t on the pitch for Cardiff instead of the back streets like a couple of years ago
