BOLTON CHAIRMAN ON GARY MADINE TRANSFER

KEN ANDERSON:

"l can say that the determining factor in agreeing to the transfer, albeit that it was only reluctantly and finally accepted on Wednesday morning, was the fact that the fee was to be paid immediately with further substantial add-ons in the future, together with a substantial share of any future transfer proceeds."

As suspected with Lee Tomlin, i.e. Neil Warnock has had enough of him...for now!

A wasted talent, if he carries on like this and if the personalised attention of the City physical training staff can't get him 'in the zone', then I'm not sure what will?

Bogle was always a speculative one, and hes been really impressed with pilkingtons application, which i assume he thinks he can get more from in the last few months of the season. bogle isnt going to get much game time so why not loan him out?

I don’t agree,

I actually see where BFL is coming from, how can Tomlin be fit not playing games for us or even been sent out to play for DVP? And echoed -if he’s said to Forest he has to play, then how is he fit enough to play for them and not us? The reality is that he’s not playing for us because Warnock hasn’t given him games and can’t fit him into our style of play.

Again I agree with Bogle one - he’s been for me our most promising and consistent striker really, and great when he’s come on. If you look at the red he got at a bristol then you could see that it was naive and a strikers tackle, but for me a little harsh. I’ve met the guy in the club shop and he was a lovely guy, laughing and chatting to everyone including staff. I get the impression he’s not got a bad boy image at all. But for his development I think he was in the right place, and I think he’ll be a revelation at Peterborough I just hope he comes back rareing tongo for our Boys!

He is obviously fit enough to play but he doesn't have the fitness to play in the style we do. The way we play he needs high energy and be able to do that for 90minutes which he clearly can't do.

At forest it seems he will play as number 10 with two other players doing his running for him.
