Aitor Karanka and Lee Tomlin worked together at Middlesbrough, and now they’re together again at Nottingham Forest. This is what he’s said about Tomlin in the past:

Seriously, it's a shame because I did enjoy some of his appearances but at this level you simply have to have a level of fitness.

Tomlins favourite is number 10 Chicken Fried rice, with chips and lager.

Well if he can get him back in the same shape as the photo we may well get a few bob for him in the summer.

I read up a bit more on Tomlin and fair play he's had some ups and downs in life, his Father walked out on him at 2 years old and he has since passed away, he was brought up in a rough council estate in Leicester but had a stepfather who worked as a long distance lorry driver who took care of him, his siblings and Lee's Mum. Lee has battled with depression especially with the breakdown of his relationship with his kids Mum, so I can understand to a certain degree why Lee blows hot and cold, personally I think being away from his sons a lot of the time has affected him and his football so now he will be playing for Forest which isn't far from Leicester, he will see them more, I'm sure Karanka and his team will get Lee fit, he will be thriving the latter part of the season, just a shame on the circumstances surrounding his exit from us.
