Now that Madine has signed and NML nowhere near the form he was in for us at the start of the season , why not give Zohore a chance on the wing.
Boy can cross as shown with the assist for Joe Ralls goal vs Sunderland and even that run & goal he scored against Preston came from near enough the left wing. Against Sunderland he showed that he could be a viable option for City on the wing as he brushed off Clarke-Salter and whipped in that beaut of a cross for ralls to capitalise on and hammer home. Don't get me wrong Zohore is an excellent forward and clearly has the capability to hold up the ball and run at defenders but he CANNOT header the ball and cannot compete with Defenders in the box.
With Madine in the squad we've clearly now got an Ariel presence in the box (which Zohore isn't ) and if he hits the ground running could mean the end for Zohore being in the starting 11 week in, week out.

I thought this myself last night!

Would definitely be interesting to see , strong and also has the pace for a winger

pass/cross, either way it reached him

hardly a qualification for being a winger though

Maybe its the way Etheridge distributes the ball , but look where Zohore was for that chance he had against Man City pushed out wide to the wing, like I said he did the same against Sunderland. Every time he turns a player he's always running out towards the wing before playing it in or 9/10 just losing the ball altogether.

Its a no for me!!! Can only turn players, dont think hes has got the ability to take on players like holiett or NML can. Yes hes got pace but very rarley beats his man unless on a turn. And i dont think ive ever seen him cross the ball in the air since hes been here... most keepers kick the ball diagnollay, so most big men tend to fall naturally to the wing at a goal kick

I’d play him on the right wing so he can cut inside.

No he doesn't have the legs to play that role.
Maybe as a number 10 though, a lot of his goals last season came from running from deep and using his power and pace.

I think that too.
Not sure he would strictly be a number 10 but certainly playing off Madine would look to be a very attractive proposition particularly at home.
May well result in a change of formation once all 3 centre backs are fit, I would go with 3-5-2.

He'll play just off Madine IMO

Three centrebacks rarely work for us. Our wingbacks exposed. For me, Ken needs to be rested/dropped and Wildshut play instead of Mendez. We have plenty of specialist wingers, especially with Kads back.....why play Zohore out of position?

Zohore's vision is probably the best in the squad. Number of times he sees passes that you wouldn't expect him to is incredible.

We’ve got Hoilett, NML, Wildschut, Ward, Kads and Feeney. No need to play Zohore out of position in my opinion. I think he could have a successful partnership playing off Madine.
