Will Tomlin return?

Thu Feb 01, 2018 9:13 am

Can't see it really. He's based in Leicester and hasn't gone out of his way to settle here.....bit of the Alf syndrome in fact.
He's such a talented player though, it's sad to see him leave. I always wished that he could've been accomodated. Perhaps if Gunnars had been fit and giving our back four more protection he could've been.
I feel Ward will surprise a few knockers on these boards and definitely suit our style. Having said that Wildshut and Grujic are good technical players, not blood n thunderers.

He will have to, he is under contract.

Best thing for us is if he goes away and does well. Either we get a decent fee back or Warnock then thinks he has a future here in a different kind of set up.

Yeah, but I meant return to play for us again.
I still think with a genuine holding midfielder he could've been used more often.
Mind, he's never going play 90 mins.

Probably in April, knowing Cardiff we haven’t wrote it in the contract to say he can’t play against us :banghead:

It does not have to be written int the contract, league rules state that you cannot play against your parent club.
