So much is being talked on here about Tomlin; the flair he has, not being given a chance blah di blah.
The number one thing this team needs to work on is ball retention. No amount of mercurial flair, real or imagined is going to make the slightest difference if your team mates are treating the ball like a hot potato.
Great if you have lots of players comfortable in possession and you can provide the magic to open up a stubborn defence but if not, forget it.
To my mind Mr Tomlin is a luxury we cannot afford so if he departs, goodbye, let's move on and get the basics right.

Any chance of you (and others) posting on the threads that are already created on the
same subject??

I agree. From what ive seen so far grucic is a good passer i think we can keep the ball better with him innthe side, also bryson and gunnar to return from injury so another 2 good options for midfield there along with rallsy aswell ofcourse

Of course it could be that they're all playing to orders and not encouraged to paint pretty pictures over the pitch. It must be frustrating if you're a player who can do this but the boss just wants you to hoof it up the pitch.
I've said it before but although I like Warnock, he is not the man to usher in a sustained period of success at a higher level playing his brand of 'football'.
