Promotion Chances Dented?

It seems City have lost out on their main striker target Lewis Grabbon a proven goal scorer at this level who has decided to go to Villa instead.
With Zohore not hitting the back of the net regularly therefore has losing out on Grabbon dented our promotion push? Don’t think that you can place Madine in the same category as Grabbon.
It will be interesting to see what transfer activity happens at City for the remainder of the day!

Maybe Warnock thought Madine would suit us better, style of play etc ??

Agree, it looks like both would have been expensive but I believe that Cardiff would have had a far better chance of promotion with Grabbon. Worth spending that little extra.

Personally I think LG just wanted the money,,, probably looking for a ridiculous signing on fee, imo.

How many goals has Grabban scored this season and more importantly how much game time as he had? Just saying.
If we get Madine it will be easy to compare them as us and Villa go for promotion.

I don't think our chances are at all dented!
If we get Madine it will be a great signing, from what I've seen we need a striker who'll stay in or around the 6 yard box with all the crosses we create.
As far as anyone else coming in I'd trust NW on his decisions and will support them whoever they are.
