" Lewis Grabban will go if a club "

Bournemouth are still willing to let Grabban go in this window.

Very little movement expected at Bournemouth today. Lewis Grabban will go if a club can be found but incomings unlikely unless Afobe goes.

Yeah I just saw this.
You would think Villa would be favourites with the money etc but you never know!

Sky say is a shootout between us and Villa for him - Interestingly BetVictor have villa as favourites

I wouldn’t just assume Villa

I thought with loans that the players wages are just covered? so the player doesn’t receive any more although the club wioll probably receive a fee.

If that’s true (big IF) then Villa spending more on wages recently will have no effect. Also where would you rather live for a few months, Birmingham or Cardiff. I wouldn’t rule us out totally.

yes and just a loan. he might see more opportunity to play and make a bigger difference to us than them... who knows.

in addition to wages there is often an upfront or monthly fee that goes to the home club , hence Villa may offer more than us.

if thats the case then we wouldnt be in the running, as bournemouth would have rejected our advances and his representatives wouldnt be speaking to our club

They’re saying now that Villa are keen on a permanent move. That just might see him go that way as Bournemouth are keen to get some money for him.

Big club tactic, if a player will add to a rival buy him instead, weakens the opposition threat !!!

I think we will get one in today, looking more like Madine now ?

Umm, most players would say they'd rather live in Birmingham. We're miles from anywhere, Birmingham right in the middle of the country, quick travel if he wants to go home to London.

How quick 1 hour at most by train? More likely villa a more attractive proposition
