Just woke up and no announcement of any signings can't believe it's going to the last day, after our slump in form and long injury list it's obvious the squad needs strengthening.

Nothing personal against Tan Sri Vincent Tan, Salman, and whoever else is running the show but i just don't think they are taking This promotion as seriously as I am.

Coupled with Newport doing themselves proud and have to say Swansea digging out of the grave I'm in a pretty low place today

It could be that you are not aware of the massive debts, and Tan's ambition for the club to be self sufficient, or the fact that we have already been subject to FFP rules.

I used to use this a lot and this very relevant now. Debate the post not the poster. I said I don't think the club taking the promotion push ad seriously as the fans and I stand by them words.

No. You can go online and look at the last set of audited accounts to see the club's debts, although he has converted some of that debt to equity since the last accounts were submitted. He is a billionaire because he has been a success as a businessman. I doubt if he wants to throw more money into a business that has already lost him a fortune. Besides which, I am only repeating what he said several years back, which was the days of big spending were over, and his target was to make the club self sufficient. To do that will take time, and it will take a lot longer if those debts continue to increase.

I thank you for the reply, I know what he said too but didn't think he meant it. I thought he'd fall back in love with football but hasn't been the case. Now not willing to gamble, it's not the fans fault he gambled with a novice manager in charge. This man just never wants to accept any blame! Tan Sri Vincent Tan has to be careful not to alienate the fan base as we are having a great season and be a big shame to spoil it over a few million which he has and rivals spending

I have an idea who it probably is, but was giving the benefit of doubt as I could not be 100% sure. If it is who I think it is, will know soon enough when he shows his true colours, and when all his posts end up with 5 or 6 pages of arguments in which he is right and everyone else wrong. Will find out soon enough no doubt, he usually starts off being reasonable enough before reverting to his normal obnoxious self. Be interesting to see what happens. If it is the person in question, I will avoid any posts that he is involved with.

To all sensible posters and debaters just ignore them, works for me. Some people just don't want to debate the serious issue that is the lack of signings on transfer deadline day.
