Update on striker situation

Tue Jan 30, 2018 4:23 pm

Cardiff have apparently given up on grabban and are focusing purely on madine and Bolton do have a replacement lined up.

Cardiff made another bid today Bolton want to ensure they have a striker to replace madine before letting him go

Nixon just tweeted and In fairness if you follow him I’ve never seen someone get as much right as he does

i started following him after people were talking about him on here but i dont really use twitter much. The saying "throw enough mud against the wall and some will stick" springs to mind though, i mean he was all but confirming grabban not long ago, and now will claim to be right if the above is true.

i just want this all to be over

Nixon hasn't got a clue. Why are we listening to a journalist in Scotland? :banghead: :banghead:
"Grabban deal ok, high but ok"

He’s called him training on his own, he called it saying we bid for him but he wants a pay off from Bournemouth and that’s what’s taking so long so we’ve given up.. he calls a lot of thing right instead of these made up transfer accounts. If you do follow him he does get more things right than doesn’t.

Still he could be wrong but I’d believe him than a twitter account with an egg as his picture and 4 followers

But he said we’d all but signed Grabban 5 days ago, said we’d agreed a fee and everything but Bournemouth’s manager came out and said that no bids have been made.

Even a broken clock is right twice a day! It’s all speculation is what I’m saying.

He did say the fee was agreed but wages was an issue from the start in fairness but it could all be speculation hopefully not as we need a striker

Doubt it, there is only one day left and he is considering all options !!!

Grabban may still sign, but if not Madine, McGoldrick or another will be signed as an alternative, unless they want too much, then it's back to Pilks, you always need a back up plan !!!

One more day and we will know, looks like it's going to the wire :ayatollah:

As said above that guy knows no more than any of us !!!

If you consider Pilkington has a back up plan then we have real problems

Spot on :thumbright: all smoke and mirrors I am afraid but hope it can still be fruitful by end of the day, Madine will be ok but nothing to get excited about.

I recall somewhere on here saying its only 4th day into transfer window........

Gutted to miss out on grabban but atleast we have a striker who has scored a few goals this season.. let’s get behind him and give him the support
