Stapleton Rd was the nearest station to Eastville, where the football specials stoped. IKEA was built on the Eastville site now.

As a ratio of their 'home' gates, that's impressive

Also prefer the Gas to the Robins; party because my Grandad (a Bristol man) played for them other side of WW2 before injuring himself and (as it was in those days) becoming disabled for life and moving to Cardiff where he worked at Ely Paper Mill

Stapleton Rd was the nearest station to Eastville, where the football specials stoped. IKEA was built on the Eastville site now.

I went to Eastville a few times, but get mixed up with dates now. Remember getting off the train at Stapleton Road.
