A forum for all things Cardiff City

Chief football writer of The Sun. Anyone read his report in yesterday's game? I would never buy that shit rag of a paper but mate at work gets it and showed me report. It's awful biased against us, a disgrace. He definitely has an agenda and wasn't going to let anything get in the way of him running down Cardiff. He even had a go at our fans for clapping our own players off the pitch at the end. Beauty.

Get with the agenda guys
Pep is a sophisticated young foreign manager, they all want to be his mate. In all fairness they gave him an almost unlimited amount of money and he produced a team that plays football on another level. Man city, Pep vs Cardiff City and Neil Warnock there was never going to be anything but wild praise of the new messiah of football especially against the gruff 69 year old no nonsense Yorkshireman.
The sun is there to sell ad space, a simple non emotional report doesn’t do it anymore. It needs to be sensational (you passed the link on= success)
We mustn’t forget here were two England internationals for him to drawl over. He didn’t mention when the Citeh fans started their England chants there were more English players in blue.
Were they amazing, of course. Should we have bowed to the alter of Pep, of course. Are they good for the English game – no they along with Chelsea and of course United have wrecked it.
Always liked Citeh fans, normal folk who were in the dungeon with us, cheered so loudly when they won the league against QPR those season ago. But, I am starting to get that anti feeling I have for Chelsea (always) United and Liverpool.
I hope Arsenal turn them over in the league cup.

I have just looked at that link. It's not quite the article I read, which was headed Slickers v Kickers. I will try to get the text tomorrow if the paper has not hit the bin at work and puthe it up here. He really had a go at Joe Bennett and called him a nasty piece of work.

Nothing surprises me from that rag.
Though, all the national media will say the same. It was a poor tackle by Bennett, but there have been far worse this season. This seems to be getting more coverage than the West Ham player spitting?? He’s been banned for six games.

Worse article i have seen for a long time. Like some others will not buy the sun again, Should have done that a while ago really.

I just quickly read the article, he is in a profession where he gets the opportunity to place a one sided view on his own interpretation about a game in which he was (and I’m guessing here) never a professional himself.
Now I’m no copywriter or editor and to be honest I never even took English literature at school or college however if he believes Cardiff were that bad as professional footballers, then his grammar and the use of the English language for a so called “Chief” is laughable.
Does nobody at the Sun read the copy prior to it going to print ? Or does the “Chief” or should I say Cowboy get away with it due to time served ?
Professional writer - my arse !

I wrote to him today, letting him know how i felt about his report and that the Sun is no longer on our shopping list, i should have stopped buying it years ago.
