YESTERDAY - MY THOUGHTS AND THE FUTURE

I traveled down from Colchester with my grandson to watch the game. We don't come every game but have to pick which games we go to. Normally do about 15 per season home & away.
The game itself was as expected. Let's be fair they are Man City - untold riches, players etc etc.However, one comment from a 'regular' in the Ninian stand of 'look at how many plastics are here' 'oh well they won't be here next week etc etc made me want to wretch. Small minded people IMO. The people whoever they were turned and up paid their money and put it into the club. They didn't have to they could have watched it on the TV. Who knows some may even come back?
Was stood with some really great supporters and great debate about the game.
One thing disturbs me is our lack of a goal scorer. Ken isn't the answer and neither is Pilks. Given that we are 3rd I would have thought that it would have made business sense to get NW whatever he needs to get the job done. We can all see it. The more I read that we are fighting with Fulham etc etc, NW now stating he may not get anyone at all etc etc I am seriously worried that the bit of life that NW has breathed into the club may be lost. VT needs to seriously, IMO, get the cheque book out and get this sorted.
We need someone for Leeds and thereafter. If we end up with McGoldick I will be deeply disappointed (he hasn't scored since Nov).
I enjoyed the day yesterday even though a total travelling time of 9hrs ensued and will always support MY team

Most of extra fans were brought by ST holders so hardly plastics and your right may just encourage some to come again! Whilst agree about another striker can't but think it's the injuries that have changed way we play so forwards not getting in the position to score or getting the right ball? Hopefully NW gets what he requires by wed.
