Cardiff will be without Aron Gunnarsson, Kadeem Harris, Lee Peltier, Matthew Connolly and Craig Bryson for the game, while Joe Bennett is suspended following his red card against Manchester City in the FA Cup.

Jazz Richards could deputise at left-back, although Warnock may well call on new boy Armand Traore, who's available for selection after his loan move was officially completed on Friday evening.

NEIL WARNOCK ON INJURIES:

Leeds will be looking to bounce back from their disappointing result at Hull City in midweek when they face Cardiff City at Elland Road at the weekend.
Thomas Christiansen's side have still not won since Boxing Day, losing four of their last six games in all competitions

About Leeds United

Leeds United Football Club is a professional association football club in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. The club was formed in 1919 following the disbanding of Leeds City F.C. by the Football League and took over their Elland Road stadium. They play in the Championship, the second tier of the English football league system.

Leeds United have won three First Division league titles, one FA Cup and one League Cup. The club has also won two Inter-Cities Fairs Cups. The majority of the honours were won under the management of Don Revie in the 1960s and 1970s. Leeds lost the 1975 European Cup Final against Bayern Munich and reached the semi-finals of the tournament's successor, the Champions League, in 2001.

Leeds play in all-white kits, leading to their nickname being 'the whites'. The club's badge features the White Rose of York together with the monogram "LUFC". The club's anthem is "Marching On Together". Leeds share rivalries with Manchester United, Millwall, Chelsea, and Huddersfield Town and Bradford City in the West Yorkshire derby.

Leeds have a shed load of injuries/suspensions currently. If we fail to beat them, then i’d be pretty hacked off.

Be surprised if we don't win against them, looks like they are struggling with injuries and suspensions. 2-1 win I fancy.

Leeds predicted lineup vs Cardiff: Tyler Roberts makes debut

Leeds United will be looking to get back to winning ways in their next Championship clash.

HITC

Friday 2nd Feb 2018

Thomas Christiansen manager of Leeds United looks on during the Sky Bet Championship match between Wolverhampton Wanderers and Leeds United at Molineux on November 22, 2017 in...

Leeds will be looking to bounce back from their disappointing result at Hull City in midweek when they face Cardiff City at Elland Road at the weekend.

Thomas Christiansen's side have still not won since Boxing Day, losing four of their last six games in all competitions, and their display at the KCOM Stadium on Tuesday may not have done much to alleviate some of the pessimism that has crept in amongst some of the fans, with Felix Wiedwald's excellent performance keeping the Whites in the clash.

West Bromwich Albion forward Tyler Roberts looks on during the Premier League Asia Trophy match between West Brom and Crystal Palace at Hong Kong Stadium on July 22, 2017 in Hong Kong,...

While Leeds are enduring a poor run however, there was some good news on transfer deadline day with the club landing Tyler Roberts for an initial £2.5 million from West Bromwich Albion.

With Leeds not managing a single shot on target during their clash with the Tigers, it would not be a surprise if Christiansen decided to reshuffle his attacking options for the game against Neil Warnock's side - and that may include a debut for Roberts.

Stuart Dallas of Leeds scores the winning penalty during the Carabao Cup Third Round match between Burnley and Leeds United at Turf Moor on September 19, 2017 in Burnley, England.

Kemar Roofe may be the man to drop out for Roberts, while Stuart Dallas may perhaps get a chance to make a rare start, with Pablo Hernandez moving out to the left and Gjanni Alioski dropping to the bench. The Northern Irishman did well after filling in at right-back from the sixth minute at Hull, and his ability to provide the defence with support may be beneficial against a Cardiff side that can overpower teams going forward.

The final change comes at centre-back with Matthew Pennington replacing Conor Shaughnessy, who was stretchered off at Hull. Though with Pennington also coming back from a recent injury, perhaps there is a chance that Gaetano Berardi may come into the middle and either Dallas or Vurnon Anita go to right-back.

1-1.

Graham Scott is the ref.

Mixed result with him over the years. In the spotlight recently at Chelsea v Norwich.

He did the Leeds 2-0 win in Cardiff last season.

Leeds United

NEIL WARNOCK:

"They’re not bad at Elland Road, they know when I was there we had a decent team and we were only a couple of players short (of promotion). I didn’t want to sell Snodgrass and I was told we’d get half the money… and in 48 hours I was told the bank wouldn’t allow us to have the money."

"It’s a fabulous club and biggest club I’ve been at by a mile, no disrespect to Cardiff or any of my other clubs. It’s just a massive club, the fans are good, all round the area for 20 miles, there’s nothing but Leeds United, they’re all Leeds United mad and there’d be full houses every week if they got back. I had a great time living there, met some lovely people but it wasn’t meant to be."

"The majority of fans there don’t give me too much stick because I kept the club stable for a while when I was there."

Cardiff City travel to Leeds United for a fiercely contest Championship encounter at Elland Road, with Neil Warnock going against his former club:

Leeds have won one of their last 10 home league games against Cardiff (D3 L6), winning 1-0 courtesy of an Alex Mowatt strike in November 2015

Cardiff haven’t conceded more than once in any of their last 12 league trips to Elland Road (seven conceded in total) since a 3-0 defeat in April 1963

Since a run of four successive league wins, Leeds United have picked up just two points in their last five games (D2 L3), failing to score on four occasions in this run

Cardiff have conceded 56 per cent of their league goals in the last 30 minutes this season; only opponents Leeds (58 per cent) have a higher percentage.

Leeds have lost 11 of the 12 games they have fallen behind in this season in the Championship, the worst such percentage in the competition.
