Watching the many replays of the goal it looked to me all the Man City players were on their knees measuring the contours of the pitch just like the golfers do being taking a putt. Something tells me it was all planned.

The guy is an absolute tool, slated us for everything horrible bloke and an even worse pundit, thought Michael Owen was bad but this guy takes the biscuit.

He did know the wall was going to jump, that's why he passed it underneath. He's done done it before in other games.

I totally agree - he is as far away from being a football brain as frogs are from feathers - the bloke is a tit and also a total sycophant! I remember what a simpering twit his puppet was made out to be on Spitting Image!

If anyone is playing one of the top 4 or 5 teams - Man City, Man Utd, Chelsea etc - he always seems to feel the need to try and substantiate his prowess as a pundit by telling every listener the most obvious fact that the top team is a top team and clearly of a much higher quality than the opposition. The bloke is a non entity and clearly has limited opinions and even less ability to analyse a footballing situation. Not that I have anything against Liverpool but it would have been much more entertaining had his co-commentator asked him to explain how as a top four team; his beloved Liverpool managed to get themselves knocked out of this season's FA Cup by "lowly" WBA!!

I rated him as a player, and there is no doubt he was quality all those years ago. I've watched the game again as recorded it, and listening to him on there you would swear he is a Man City season ticket holder. Useless pundit with a completely one sided view of everything that happened.

He's hated Cardiff since Robin Friday did a Mr Hankey in his kitbag. Miserable old fart whose taste in clothes mirrors the gift that Robin left him.
