IMHO you’ve answered your question for me.
90 mins today will do his fitness levels no harm and I think we should judge him v milllwall and Bolton as he should be bedded in by then.

Was Poor today imo, but it was Man City, and he hasn't played much football and is still bedding in here. I actually thought he played well against Wednesday and I'm sure the more games he plays the better he will be.

Judging him on a game against Man City is pointless

I didn't attend the game, watched it on the box, the commentary team said
You'll have to excuse him being rusty, he has played no football what so ever.
Hence he is with us with these terms and conditions that are in place I guess

Needs to do a bit more in terms of winning the ball but actually had some pretty good touches and looks good when running with the ball.
Jury is out but as others have said, he isn't going to play against Man City every week, let's see how he does against Leeds and Millwall.

He did alright yesterday, but still looks short of match fitness.
There was one occasion where he ran forward with the ball but went too far when NML was free out wide.
Got some great passes in him, and think he’ll be a great asset once he has a few more games under his belt.

I agree, people that think he should have hit the ground running and be an instant superstar are sadly deluded. The boy has no match fitness whatsoever and it takes much more than 2 games.

He made a run in the first half and went passed 2 or 3 players with ease but the final pass was poor. I think he will be a really good player when hes settled
