Bristol have got 11 players who are comfortable on the ball. Cardiff do’nt. So we play to our strengths, which today was’nt good enough, unfortunately.

We were far from embarrassing..Bristol City played well but ultimately were well beaten over the 2 legs and Newport got a draw against a Spurs team that is out of form and didn't turn up for 45 minutes

The only embarrassing thing here is your post. We played against the best team in the world and against imo the best manager in the world with 100m+ worth of talent and we lost 2-0 with a team full of frees. We created chances in the game and made a better fist of it than many Premier League clubs with premier league players. Remember who we are playing lol.

I feel a bit sorry for Joe Bennett. You couldn't fault his effort throughout and he made a good cross in the first half that Patterson couldn't quite his head on. He did look exposed against Kyle Walker and others, but got on with it came out ok. the tackle on Sane was not good but I could understand why he tried it and how it happened in that moment. He looked tired at the end and messed up for the second. He did get applause when he was sent off.. which says something.

We don't play possession football cos we aren't good at it. When we did (under Trollope).. we lost mostly.

We lost to arguably the best team in the World at the moment, 2-0 was a good score tbh, they just looked quality all over the park, kept the ball really well and if they lost it just surrounded any City player and won it back.

Free kick was a World class goal by a team who did their homework on us, Cheeky little finish and never heard the CCS go into silence so quickly after a goal.
