Funny thing is this will probably lose a floaters from the next game who can't afford them both.

It's a bit of an odd one is this game, as it's great that the stadium is a sell-out (apt term) but sad that so many people (many of whom haven't attended the CCS for years or maybe not at all) have finally proven that the bile many have spouted for their non attendance has been blown out of the water!
I take the Mick in a friendly way out of Blue Lagoon (there are lots of others like him) and he is a classic. On here after we drew lowly Mansfield in the 3rd round and telling us how he wouldn't be going and how he thought (well after he agreed to the conditions) they should be added to his season ticket for free. He's going to the game and undoubtedly he's paid for a ticket, so how does that now make him look?
Sadly, not untypical of many and I can't stand here and not mention some of my own City supporting friends; many of whom declined to attend the Mansfield game for reasons that ultimately added up to "We couldn't be bothered!"
Lots of hypocrites will be at this game but whisper it carefully; they might get 'prickly' for pointing to out!![]()

Nah, Ian is a good guy and no buffoon but he firmly believes the rebrand was a massively divisive error, which resulted in many former 'die-hard' fans 'giving up' on their club and others (the Remoaners) not being able to 'let it go' even though they stayed. It's hard to disagree with he basics of what he believes of the original rebrand but it's been done, it's been corrected and the majority (including Vincent Tan, who continues to bank roll and improve the club no matter what his underlying motivation) have moved on in the best interests of the club they continue to love
