Couple or three questions this morning

Sun Jan 07, 2018 9:41 am

1 Do you think that recent results could mean Warnock has lost the dressing room
2 Do you think any other club will be in for any of our players during January, and if not why not thinking of Bamba,Zohore,Morrison or Ralls
3 Do you believe Zohore has lost interest or his he just someone coming back after a long lay off

1 Do you think that recent results could mean Warnock has lost the dressing room -
Makes you wonder. I have a feeling the rest of the squad are getting disillusioned with our strike force.

2 Do you think any other club will be in for any of our players during January, and if not why not thinking of Bamba,Zohore,Morrison or Ralls -
I doubt anyone will be interested in any of our players.

3 Do you believe Zohore has lost interest or his he just someone coming back after a long lay off
Not too sure about losing interest but more about his ability.

2no
3 just loss of form due to lengthy abscence

I think its a few things.

1. The defence has no confidence in the goalkeeper especially when Morrison is not playing.

2. The midfield all have bad necks from watching the ball go over there heads all game.

3. The wingers are burnt out from having to chase lost cause long balls all day.

4. Our strikers are fed up of feeding off scraps and lose interest in the game as it bypasses them.

Warnock needs to change things up a bit because our style of play has been worked out.

Teams just man mark our wingers out of the game and sit a extra midfielder in front of there own defence to pick up all loose balls from our hoofing whilst also stopping the ball into zahore.
Its pretty easy to play and it works, every team since reading has done it and its no coincidence it has resulted in 4 losses

Luke, the speed of change of 'opinion' and or 'attitude' towards their so-called team from some on here is truly frightening. The first sign of the same 'blip' others in the Divison have had (you know, the same 'blip' most of us anticipated having at some point) and they are on here with their rumours, conjecture, guesswork and (in a lot of cases) downright untruths

One of the best things that has come out of the inner sanctum of the CCS in the last few years is that very little has come out! The club are far more professional than that and the simple truth is that we get the information they deem necessary and/or relevant to us as supporters

Whilst I'm not 'knocking' the OP for asking the questions, I am massively disappointed that this Forum is once again heading towards a negativity meltdown whilst we sit in 3rd place in the Championship (you know, the one few gave us a chance of finishing much above halfway in)

I believe Neil Warnock still has the dressing room and (from my great seating position yesterday) I was able to (a) hear what he and his coaching team were saying to the players, and (b) how they were reacting...

Instructions to the players were clear, usually about positioning and made sense. Players took instructions on board, reacted well and the only slight reaction I saw was when Ronnie Jepson shouted something at Lee Tomlin and he reacted by talking to himself (the wise thing to do) and ending it with something like "I'm trying, FFS"

In our current position, we should be very much behind Neil Warnock and his team right now and not creating/searching for reasons for it to all fall apart.

The crowd was very quiet yesterday but the really sad thing is that at least four times as many people will be almost as equally quiet when Sunderland arrive next Saturday when it should really be a cauldron of positivity! :thumbright:

2 Do you think any other club will be in for any of our players during January, and if not why not thinking of Bamba,Zohore,Morrison or Ralls Never say never in football. But don’t think anyone will be going anywhere
3 Do you believe Zohore has lost interest or his he just someone coming back after a long lay off
Coming back from a long absence can’t help but he Deffo needs a kick up the arse. Young Rhys Healy has shown heart and Ken should have the same attitude as him.

No to all, get a grip, our fans are fickle drama queens. Going on like we’re having some sort of crisis, it’s a dip in form and lack of confidence. With a few players back from injury and one or two fresh faces we’ll be fine.

You could argue NW has lost half the dressing room because they have moved into the treatment room

If for argument sake the players have lost faith in NW and are not buying 100% into his methods then the problem lay with players not the manager.

At the end of the day there is a chain of command and the players are both morally and contractually bound to follow the managers instructions.

We can argue all day that 'teams' have sussed us out  but if everyone is pulling in the same direction and have faith in each other then the results will return in the same way they did at the beginning of the season.

Of course having a fully fit squad would also be a decent plus point.

1. No, Warnock has simply ran out of options and of course needs to wake up the squad and boost there morale in order to push for the automatic spot, in which we are only 2 points from so it is not the end of the world, a few new faces will help out a lot as the injury list is getting shorter as Zohore and Lang and Morrison are back.

2. I think that few of our players might have bids, the likes of Lang and Bamba but we need unity and need to grow our momentum with the players we have and a few additions, plus our focus is automatic promotion and to achieve this goal we need the best players we got and so we need to keep the team that had such a fantastic start to this season.

3. Kenneth Zohore has NOT lost interest as he is a Vincent Tan signing and he has been off for months due to injury and so with this I personally think that he is getting back to his feet and each game with help from Hoilett and Lang he will improve and get back to his best from the start of the season, injury is bound to have effected his performance on the pitch, but he will improve and just like a stranded Fraizer Campbell back in the day, with a few additions that will no doubt help Zohore to score again.

My Prediction for Sunderland: CARDIFF 2-1 Sunderland :ayatollah:

Can l point out that these are questions ive raised from views that I’ve read from others on ccfc message boards as personally l believe Warnock has done an amazing job up to this point with players apart from Morrison and Zohore who are not in high demand ,and with the main striker out for several months who is feeling his way back into the team, but l believe will be as effective as he was before his injury

Some people on here are crazy!!

We’ve virtually the same squad we started with last season, we’ve gone from relegation fodder to promotion contenders in 13 months!!

He has had a speight of injuries that has left us threadbare and a loss of form in some of his players - after a battling 13 months!! I just find the fan criticism spectacular.

He’s done it on peanuts, as appose to the Villas, Derbys, Boroughs,WOLVES who have spent Millions- and some of us are still not happy.

To be where we are on what he’s built is nothing more than a footballing miricale- by rights we should be in mid table, but we aren’t! We’re clawing and scrapping as one!

Unbelievable honestly! Nobody deserves to be promoted, there’s no magic formula it’s the luck of the draw and largerly down to depth and quality of the squad. If we fall short we fall short at the end of the season id cheer both the players and Warnock they’ve all been remarkable and a credit to the teams history - threads like this are not

Totally agree mate, Facebook is just as bad if not worse. The reaction to the draw was totally over the top, it's like some people are surprised at cup shocks, a lot worse than us this weekend that's for sure.

Lost the dressing room
Warnock is a great manager, they are lucky to have him as manager.
2nd by a few points before Christmas, some players aren’t up to it and we need cover let alone players back from injury.
Nothing else to say.....

No, I cant see why he would lose the dressing room. The team has pretty much picked itself due to injury poblems. Plus I doubt any of them would cross the boss with his old pal big Sol Bamba in the dressing room.
There may be a few enquiries but we were in a position to reject big money for Zohore in the last window so I cant see our major players going anywhere.
I think Zohore is fine, mendez laing has been worse. Players lose form, it happens
