No doubt our confidence is low after 4 straight defeats but today’s game was an ideal opportunity to knock in a few goals and register a moral boosting win.

Instead a League 2 team not only held Cardiff but had more possession than a relatively strong home team. Well done Mansfield. Concerning that we seem to have missed out on an opportunity to boost confidence amongst the players. Also another game (replay) that we could have done without.

Hopefully things will improve for the visit of Sunderland next week or we can soon fall out of the top 6.

Can't see it improving anytime soon, but it will and usually when Least expected. We need a lift we need a jammy win and confidence will return.

Apart from a couple of late scares Mansfield were never a threat and we should have won comfortably, Unfortunately we have an out of form center forward and winger. If we had had a bit more energy around the front line this was a game we should have won well, their keeper was far busier than ours and made a great last minute save, if we play a strong team on the replay then we should be in the next round.Mansfield can be pleased with the result but they were were second best most of the game.

Let's not over react, it's the cup it's happens. Look at Stoke and Chelsea and Villa etc etc.

Mansfield were negative from the start and well organised. Their number 5 was outstanding.

I don’t normally moan about referees but today’s was poor. No wonder Zohore lost heart as the Centre halves were double teaming him and were allowed to constantly hold him down without punishment. I know we should expect more from Zohore, but he had no protection from the officials today

He named a strong team but don't tell me he wasn't giving instructions to most of them to not push themselves too hard and give the commitment they do in a league game.

Players playing for places and all that - Let's hope we can turn this all around
