“ TEN PLAYERS INJURED “
UPDATED
Long-term injuries to Lee Peltier and Matthew Connolly have worsened Cardiff City's injury problems as Neil Warnock also revealed a bout of flu has decimated his squad this week.
The Bluebirds - already without Danny Ward, Sean Morrison and Aron Gunnarsson - continue to have no luck on the injury front with Kadeem Harris suffering a set-back on his comeback trail.
NEIL WARNOCK:
“We seem to be going from one crisis to another at the moment. I thought we’d get a number back and yet we’ve lost more.”
“Since last week Lee Peltier is going to have an operation and will be out for a month. Connolly has damaged a muscle and he’ll out for a month as well. Kadeem Harris has had an injection in a groin situation - nothing to do with his injury - so that’s a disappointment as well. It’s actually his hip not his groin. “
“Jazz Richards is fit, so that’s a plus.”
“I just hope they don’t find anything else like with Kadeem they did with Gunnarsson. We’ve got to hope it’s just a straightforward operation. Connolly has done two muscles in his calf, two little tears which will take four weeks. Kadeem is training well and we’re hoping this injection clears it up.”

With all the injuries we've had of late it does make you question the training methods, thoughts ?

I have had my doubts about the backroom staff at City for some time, just got this lingering feeling that they are incompetent

With this in mind I hope Warnock is looking to bring in more than 2 new faces this month also I hope we avoid the drawn out negotiations that seem to happen every transfer window, need quality need it soon, assuming Tan has given Warnock enough of a war chest

Totally agree there's being unlucky with injuries to this, surely training has to be changed

running on empty
he's got a good tune out of league one players but now they are weary.
injuries have hurt massively with players out performing their normal ability levels.

It was concerning when Warnock was saying things about Zohore basically not being tough enough and how some players would just run it off then Warnock back tracking a couple of weeks later saying its worse than they thought, surely they should know how bad it is before trying to push his pain threshold.

I said this the other day. People who are banking on the injury situation getting better soon I think may be dissapointed. Very often players pick up injuries in rehab and those who are being overplayed will be playing through knocks and strains. We need 3/4 players.

Yeah they were all doubting him and Obv pushing him, then he had a scan and the surgeon said it was "one of the worst scar tissue he'd seen"

When's Fred fit?
Seems that he's never mentioned in any injury updates any more.

I called it a while back now, the Kadeem Harris bit some it up with the list of injuries.

Assuming Warnock will want to rest/not risk Bamba tomorrow, looks like it could be Bruno and Halford at centre half!
Should have hung on to Felcher (

) until after the third round.

I don’t think it’s only training tbh - we’ve a light squad, and the majority of players up until December we’re playing week in week out it’s bound to take its toll

In all my years of watching football ive never seen so many injuries. Our squad is good enough to gain auto promotion or get into the upper part of the play offs however with the injuries if the situation continue I doubt we will get either.

I would prefer that and give Bamba a rest personally. Halfords experienced enough for a league 2 team.

He's out for months apparently.
I doubt we will see him in a City shirt again.ive a feeling this one is more a mental issue than a physical one.
