We should be able to beat Mansfield with our second string anyway - important we rest players and get to find out more about our fringe players

Big fan of the FA Cup but would rather have a good run in the League tbh though ideal chance to give the likes of Tomlin a full game for for his fitness.

Agree with that and will be there to support whoever plays on the day. IMHO, we have priorities this year!

Always want us to win, has to be a second string team though.

Doesn’t everyone love a good cup run although once you start getting into the later stages and maybe beat a top side you form can drop as everyone turns the attention to the cup not the league - you only have to look at the neighbours across the river

Trouble is we are having a bad run as well. Perhaps our players have been concentrating too much on Mansfield. ;)
I don't think we are a big enough club not to be taking this cup seriously. The odds are that we will be playing Championship football next season, so if we forget the cup we could easily see our season all but over by the middle of next month. At least a good cup run will keep things interesting if out league form dips.
